ACTIGRAPHY & SLEEP QUESTIONNAIRE
Summary: The study's triaxial actograph of choice is the Motionwatch8. The watch is worn on the child's wrists for 6 continuous days (5 nights) and is returned by post or courier to the study site. The watches measure fine movements at 15 second epochs. The data are used to calculate various sleep and circadian rhythm parameters, and to quantify daytime physical activity. The watches also measure light exposure. At the assessment, mothers report on their child's sleep using a 6 item sleep questionnaire.
Duration: 5 minutes (Sleep questionnaire 2 minutes, watch set up 1 minute, instructions to mother 2 minutes)
